TSIA2 Intensive Prep Course – Let’s Get Test-Ready!

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Optional Group Test Dates @ Lamar University Testing Center:
ELA: Thursday July 17
Math: Wednesday, July 30
TOTAL Cost: $27 per test – paid directly to the testing center by parents
Testing center availability may vary — students are welcome to take the test independently. VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED

Course Description:
Let’s face it — big tests can be intimidating, but this prep course will help your student tackle the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2) with confidence! FOR GRADES 8-12
In just four weeks, we’ll break it all down together:
-Get familiar with the format, rules, and scoring of the test
-Learn smart test strategies and practice with real-style questions
-Take practice tests in both ELA and Math
-Build a custom study plan tailored to each student’s strengths and struggles
-Work through tricky concepts with group and one-on-one instruction
Each student will be asked to commit to at least 1 hour of daily study time outside of class to make the most of our prep. I'll keep them motivated with daily check-ins, and accountability chats.
Together, we’ll build skills, beat test anxiety, and walk into the testing center ready to shine!
